Human and Artificial Movement Analysis: Models and Applications

IMT Lucca cerca un/a Ricercatore Postdoc motivato/a ed entusiasta che si unisca all'attività di ricerca di IMT Lucca nell'ambito del progetto PRIN 2022 MAHATMA (Multiscale Analysis of Human and Artificial Trajectories: Models and Applications. Il/la candidato/a deve possedere un'attitudine alla ricerca interdisciplinare, che integri conoscenze relative ai modelli per l'analisi del movimento, all'apprendimento automatico, ed alla programmazione informatica. Requisiti preferenziali sono costituiti da una precedente esperienza nell'analisi di dati di motion capture, e/o nella teoria delle decisioni e nella teoria dei giochi. La posizione ha la durata di un anno, ed è estendibile.

IMT Lucca invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research position in human and artificial movement analysis, models, and applications. IMT Lucca is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Researcher to join the research activity of IMT Lucca in the context of the PRIN 2022 project MAHATMA (Multiscale Analysis of Human and Artificial Trajectories: Models and Applications). The candidate must have a cross-disciplinary research attitude, integrating knowledge in models of movement analysis, machine learning, and computer programming. Prior experience in the analysis of motion-capture data and/or in decision theory and game theory are preferential requisites. The position is for one year, extendable.

• Degree in: Applied Mathematics, Computational Neuroscience, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Control Engineering, Data Science, Mathematical Methods of Economics, Operations Research, Fisica, Robotica, Statistica o campi affini al progetto di ricerca;
• Good knowledge of both written and spoken English;

Other specific requirements:

Il candidato dovrà avere un background professionale che consenta di lavorare in un team altamente collaborativo e multidisciplinare; preferibile esperienza pregressa in: analysis of motion-capture data e/o decision and game theory. (e.g., as models of agents' motion behavior). Il dottorato di ricerca in Applied Mathematics, Computational Neuroscience, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Fisica, Statistica o campi affini sarà considerato titolo preferenziale ma non obbligatorio per partecipare alla selezione.

The candidate must have a professional background to work in a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team; preferrable but not necessary are a prior experience in the analysis of motion-capture data and/or in decision theory and game theory. (e.g., as models of agents' motion behavior). A Ph.D. title in a topic related to the project is also a preferential requisite, but is not necessary. PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computational Neuroscience, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Physics, Statistics, or other fields related to the topic of the research is preferable title;
