Tuscany’s Universities is the Tuscan network of universities, which brings together the seven universities of Tuscany (Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa, University of Florence, University of Pisa, University of Siena, and University for Foreigners of Siena).
The Network aims to activate joint actions to promote the teaching and research activities carried out in Tuscany abroad, mainly through participation in intergovernmental projects and international fairs. The Network is part of the Uni-Italia Association, set up in 2010 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of University and Research, the Italy-China Foundation, and the Ministry of the Interior. One of its aims is to promote university cooperation and cultural exchanges between Italy and other countries, particularly attracting students and researchers from abroad to Italian academic institutions.
