About Me:
In March 2010, I joined IMT as a PhD candidate XXV cycle, in Computer Science and Engineering department and in July 2013, I graduated. My Master research thesis is based on Cross-layer optimization for multimedia content over next generation networks.
CURRENT MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT:
Participated in international forum for innovative ideas "Inventare il Futuro", organized by University of Bologna, Italy and won Second Prize, details here.
Research:
My PhD
thesis is based on Multimedia Quality of Service/Experience for
Next Generation Networks which is supervised by Dr. Leonardo Badia. As a part of my PhD program, I spent four
months in CTTC
Lab Barcelona, Spain through Erasmus Student Mobility &
Placement Program. During this period, I worked on adaptive and
fair scheduling cum resource management for LTE Femtocell
scenario.
I am mainly
interested to dig out the Next Generation Wireless Networks, in
terms of following sub fields:
-
Video Services Improvement using cross-layer approach
-
Networks Optimization
-
Resource Management
-
Scheduling and Traffic Management
