Sacchi
In 2009 I received my BA with hons in International Studies at
the University of Bologna, and in 2012 my M.A.with hons in European
Studies in the same University (Forlì campus). During my MA I spent
a year (2009-2010) at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris
(Sciences Po). In Paris I also attended a six-month intensive
postgraduate program (2011) on European Economics and Law at the
Collège des Hautes Etudes Européennes "Miguel Servet", a joint
program of Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and Universidad
Complutense of Madrid. After a collaboration with the research
foundation Istituto Cattaneo in Bologna, I enrolled the Ph.D in
Political History at IMT, Lucca.
Research Interest
My main interests concern political and economical aspects of
European integration process, as well as the history of European
integration. In particular I am interested in the evolution of
integration process during some crucial periods such as the
economic and financial crises in the 70s and today. Indeed, my
research at IMT deals with institutional change in EU during deep
economic crises, trying to understand which mechanisms of
institutional change are triggered by major crises.
My other study fields are regionalism and federalism in EU and European politics and policies (environmental and social policies).
