Domiziana Pelati

Domiziana Pelati is a Ph.D. student in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, where she is also a member of the LYNX Research Unit. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art History from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and previously served as a research fellow at the Fondazione Roberto Longhi in Florence.

Her expertise lies in Emilian painting of the Early Modern Period, with research interests that encompass social art history, religious iconography, and the interplay between painting and poetry. At IMT, her current research focuses on the study of processional banners in Italy during the Early Modern Period.
