Giorgio Stefano Gnecco

Giorgio Stefano Gnecco is currently Full Professor in Mathematical Methods of Economics and of Actuarial and Financial Sciences at the IMT - School for Advanced Studies, Lucca, working in the Analysis of compleX Economic Systems (AXES) research unit.

His scientific production includes 1 book published by Springer, 103 papers in international journals (92 in journals indexed by both ISI and Scopus, other 6 in journals indexed by Scopus only, and 1 in a journal indexed by ISI only), 2 editorials in international journals, 29 book chapters, and 97 international conference papers/abstracts. 42 of his journal papers are in “Class A” journals for “Area 13: Economics and Statistics”.

During his career, Giorgio Stefano Gnecco has collaborated, among others:

Research Interests

Current research interests include optimization (applied to actuarial sciences, economics, finance, and civil and telecommunications engineering), game theory, statistics, machine learning theory and applications, and multi-agent control systems.
