Short Bio
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage at IMT School for Advanced Studies, where I have been students’ representative both in the Academic Senate and in the joint students and teachers board. I graduated in law at Università degli Studi Roma Tre with a final dissertation on the German discipline of public contracts, which led me to spend a semester at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. In 2022 I had been visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg.
Research
My main research areas are Administrative Law and Cultural Heritage Law. For my Ph.D. project I am currently focusing on the interplays between cultural considerations and competition policy in the European Union, paying particular attention to the way the cultural derogation in state aid discipline works. I have been lately also involved in a project regarding the role of private parties in the management of cultural heritage, which still represent a topic I am really interested to, and I have been working also on the regulation of street art and citizenship's inclusion.
