Profile

IMT Lucca invites applications for a Visiting Professor in Social Psychology. Candidates should have an outstanding research profile, extensive international academic experience, as well as experience in international institutions, and have a significant profile in the field of health psychology and attitudes change, and research activities on behavioral topics such as public discourse, intellectual humility, values affirmation, defensiveness from psychological threats.

Activity

The position involves qualified research activities in the topics of Social Psychology and behavioral studies with the CCSN and EADS PhD Students and MOMILAB and AXES fellows; the visiting fellow could also be involved in teaching activities, such as masterclasses, seminars, etc.

Formal requirements

Ph.D. degree;
the candidate must have a curriculum with a suitable scientific background for carrying out research and teaching activities in social psychology and psychology of attitudes;
the candidate must be an University professor in related topics of attitudes and attitude change;
candidate must have an excellent record of high-impact publications;
excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English.
