Activity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and strongly motivated individual to support this effort. The candidate is expected to focus mostly on research in the field of Macro-Labour Economics, Search and Matching, Migration.
Formal requirements
 Possession of a 4 or 5-years undergraduate degree or equivalent MSc's level education in a related field. An excellent level of both written and spoken English is mandatory.
Specific requirements
A PhD in Economics (completed or near to completion) is preferable. Graduate work or ongoing dissertation (demonstrated with relevant working papers) in related macro-labour topics is considered a plus. The candidate should have experience with data and statistics tools (such as STATA, MATLAB). Experience with search and matching models is preferable.
Project
We have funding from the EU to investigate the relationship between recent changes in the European labour markets and the increasing flows of migrants towards and away from Europe ("Brain Drain"). It is a topic of critical importance for our society and our economy. We will be using and collecting new data to obtain robust empirical evidence and develop micro-founded theoretical search models.
Duration
1 year, yearly renewable for a maximum of three total years
