San Francesco Complex - classroom 1

We have estimated that there are about 300m firms and 13b supply chain links between them. Some of these are known, some are knowable but unknown, and some are almost unknowable in the sense that no data records exist. I will describe our progress towards reconstructing this network. I will start by describing existing data sources, including conditions for data access and merging. Finally, most of the talk will concern data reconstruction techniques, including novel results from ongoing work developing synthetic data using neural networks.
