Zainab Ali AlWaisi

I hold a PhD degree in Computer Science and System Engineering with a specialization in cybersecurity, specifically focusing on IoT, IIoT, and 6G security. I completed my studies at the University of Northampton and subsequently served as a teaching assistant and mobile application developer at Northampton Hospital.

In addition to my professional roles, I have engaged in freelance work focusing on developing various applications, including web, mobile, and Windows applications. I am proficient in multiple programming languages such as PHP, Python, Java, Java Android, C++, C#, Matlab, and C, and have utilized technologies like Java Swing, JavaFX, and C# in application development.

My expertise also spans database technologies, encompassing both relational and NoSQL databases. I have extensive experience with Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Neo4j.

My research interests lie primarily in security, IoT, Smart Cities, IoE, Industrial IoT, Smart homes, AI, TinyML, and Machine Learning. These areas not only captivate my interest but also drive my pursuit of knowledge and advancements in the field. I have a background in teaching and reviewing academic papers, having previously taught database and computer architecture models at the University of Northampton from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, I taught information technology models at Almustaqbel University in Iraq, and currently, I am mentoring orphaned university students. Recently, I reviewed a paper for the Computing journal at Springer.
