Database organization and management through the importation and exportation to and from multiple heterogeneous and semi-structured sources, such as the Web. Data mining applications and techniques, with specific reference to correlation analysis and clustering of text and non-text data sets.
Formal requirements
Possession of an undergraduate degree related to the profile. Excellent understanding of Databases and SQL, knowledge of data mining tools (eg. WEKA), proven ability to develop algorithms for the analysis and collection of data from the Web, and knowledge of C++, Java and Python. Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
