Formal requirements
Possession of an undergraduate degree related to the profile.
Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Specific requirements
Organization and management of data structures by importing them from heterogeneous and semi-structured data sources, such as the web.
Within the context of data management, the candidate will need to be able to administrate required tools such as, just to cite a few: MySQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB.
The candidate must also be able to organize, export and analyze data by means of:
  • tools offered by each different platform;
  • ad-hoc developed programs built using scripting languages (for instance Perl, Python);
  • traditional object-oriented languages (for instance C++,Java, Go);
  • GiS software for geo-statistical analysis;
  • Matlab;
  • R programming language.
However, the list is not exhaustive; since the candidate will be required to understand how to import data from different sources, he must understand new communication techniques with different data sources such as the API interface provided by a system.
