I am currently Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the deparment of Comparative Research on Democracies at the University of Bonn. I obtained my Ph.D. (joint degree between IMT Lucca and Sciences Po, Paris) in December 2016. In 2015 I was visiting fellow at the department of Sociology and Political Sciences at the Ivane Javakhishvili University in Tbilisi (Georgia). Subsequently, and visiting scholar at the Department of Political Sciences at Columbia University (New York).
I graduated with honour at the Florence University (2010) in International Relations and European Studies.
Research Interest
I am interested in elections under authoritarian and hybrid regimes. In particular I am conducting a research on electoral frauds and malpractices by analysing which factors determine their evolutions and change.
