This talk will start with a short introduction of the CloudSocket project, which dealt with the management of business process as a service (BPaaS). Then, it will focus on analysing some of the main contributions of the speaker in terms of this project. This will include: (a) the OWL-Q refactoring and SLA extension; (b) the smart, semantic service matchmaking framework covering both the functional and non-functional aspects; (c) the cross-level selection of cloud services to realise the functionality of a BPaaS. The talk will finally conclude with some interesting research directions also covering the specification of smart SLAs.
