The Network for Statistical and Causal Inference (NESCI) was founded in 2022 to promote the development of statistical and causal inference methods across the sciences, focusing on experimental and machine learning methods. NESCI aims to foster the interaction among economists, psychologists, neuroscientists, data scientists, and philosophers of science.
The third meeting of the Network (NESCI3), hosted on July 2 at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, will bring together scholars from various disciplines to explore a wide range of methodological applications. The workshop will feature presentations on topics ranging from controlling for confounding variables to the impact of economic shocks and vaccine hesitancy.
Participation is free, both in presence and remotely, but registration is required to secure your spot.
The event will be live-streamed on imt.lu/aula2
