Natural history collections, scientific instruments, and technological objects are considered key elements in the study of the history of science and technology, but they are often excluded from heritage and museum studies. Scientific heritage is at the center of a broad debate on how to reinterpret topics such as colonialism, positivism, and gender equality. This paper will address the history of scientific museums and artefacts, their potential, significance, narratives, practices, and uses between past and present.
