Jacopo Bonari

Jacopo Bonari completed his Master's degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Pisa. In May 2021 he obtained his Ph.D. in "Computer Science and Systems Engineering" at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (IMT), discussing the thesis "Novel interface discretisation methods for contact mechanics". He is currently enrolled as post-doctoral fellow at the IMT where he is involved in the development of finite and boundary elements models for the simulation of tribological systems ranging from the nano- to the macro-scale of analysis.
