Interactivity in museums

6 March 2014
Ex Boccherini - Piazza S. Ponziano 6 (Conference Room )
In the past 15 years there has been a great expansion in the use of interactive technologies in museums. The question is: what is it good for? Is it reallly enhancing the public's appreciation of a museum's content? Or is it a just vain attempt to seem attractive and modern? The lecture will discuss these issues with video examples of interactive installations in the US and Europe.
