Carlo Orsi

Born in Milan (1977). Married, with a son.

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics with honours (2005), Master’s Degree in Biostatistics and Experimental Statistics with honours (2011) and Ph.D. in Statistics (2014), all from University of Milan-Bicocca.

Statistical Assistant at the Swiss pharmaceutical consulting company “Cross Research” (2003-2006). Statistician at the market research company “Carlo Erminero & Co. Ricerca e Customer Intelligence” in Milan (2006). Statistician at the business consulting company “Safe Well Work - System for People” in Busto Arsizio (2008).

Statistician at the University Centre for Statistics in the Biomedical Sciences of Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan (2007-2009). Member of the Local Organizing Committee of the 3rd International Meeting of IMS (Institute of Mathematical Statistics) and ISBA (International Society for Bayesian Analysis) held in Bormio (2008). Teacher of the professionalizing course in “Statistical potential of Excel” at University of Insubria in Varese (2008). Current research interests: non-central probability distributions over the unit simplex, multi-output Gaussian process regression, change point analysis.
