IMT Professor of Software Systems for Global Computing Rocco De Nicola, along with Prof. Roberto Baldoni of the Sapienza University in Rome, coordinated the realization of the volume 'Il futuro della Cyber Security in Italia per la sicurezza e per la protezione degli interessi economici del Paese', a white paper that analyses the principal challenges that Italy must face over the next five years to remain in line with other developed countries. The paper also seeks to increase the general awareness of cyber threats and the defensive capacity of the country. De Nicola and Baldoni coordinated the work of over fifty Italian researchers from the most prestigious universities in Italy. Because of the relevance of Prof. De Nicola's work, the volume has been published on the home page of the 'Intelligence System for the Security of the Republic' website. Moreover, the volume was presented to the Italian Senate last week. The Director of the Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca expressed his sincere congratulations to Prof. De Nicola for his successful effort in completing such an important task, in line with the excellence that the Scuola always intends to pursue. The volume (in Italian) can be downloaded from: https://www.consorzio-cini.it/index.php/it/labcs-home/libro-bianco
