Marianna Marino is an Associate Professor at IMT School of Advanced Studies since October 2024. With a Ph.D. in Economics and Management of Innovation from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and a Master's degree cum laude from Bocconi University, she brings expertise in Applied Economics, with a focus on innovation (policy), and entrepreneurial dynamics. She has published her works in top field journals such as Environmental Economics and Management and Research Policy, examining topics such as the effectiveness of R&D subsidies, environmental regulations' impact on innovation, entrepreneurship dynamics, labor diversity and knowledge transfer mechanisms, social norms and their influence on consumers' s behavior. Before her current role, she held positions at various institutions across Europe, including SKEMA Business School, EPFL, ICN Business School, Aarhus University, and Bocconi University.
