Following the European Conference on Complex Systems (ECCS '14), which in September 2014, thanks to the collaboration between the IMT School and the Complex Systems Society (CSS) brought to Lucca more than 700 participants from around the world, a book of great interest for scientists, researchers and university students who study or carry out research in the field of complex systems and networks was published: Proceedings of ECCS 2014.
The publication provides a selection of contributions presented at the conference, with Prof. Guido Caldarelli as one of the authors. Caldarelli is a Professor in Theoretical Physics at the IMT School, Vice-President of CSS and scientific and organisational coordinator of the ECCS 2014.
Since the very first edition, the European Conference on Complex Systems has been the leading European event for those looking to focus on an interdisciplinary approach to the study of complex systems. The conferences present cutting-edge research, offering a unique opportunity to study new scientific approaches in relation to a multitude of application fields. This interdisciplinary model is perfectly in line with the study and research methods that characterise the IMT School.
