Computational Chemistry

1 Post Doctoral Fellow position
(Deadline June 21st, 2018 12:00 )
Fields

Computational chemistry; molecular dynamics; quantum chemistry; physico-chemical reactions; graphene oxide.

Activity

Research and technology transfer activity within the project "Multi-property nano additive with UV absorbance and preserving properties" (GlycoG-LAB 4.0) funded within the operative regional programme Call n.1 "Strategic projects of research and development" POR FESR 2014-2020 (action 1.1.5 sub-action a1), related to the study and the optimization of a nano additive for polymeric matrices based on grafene oxide functionalized with biocide components, in order to increase the UV absorbance and the biocide properties of paints and coatings. The project is developed in cooperation with industrial partners (companies leader in the sectors of paints, textiles, and naval industry: CROMOLOGY Italia spa, BESTE spa, YACHT PRIDE srl) and with research and development centres (Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale per la Scienza e la Tecnologia dei Materiali, Laboratorio Materiali Polimerici Ecocompatibili srl).
